I am so amazed at so much good you have done this year. I am in awe of your courage and heroism to never stop making a difference in the lives of others during this worst pandemic in generations.
During these past difficult months, many of our finest volunteers did not waver to help so many others in need. These volunteers made more than 5,000 reassuring phone calls to neighbors who were struggling in their isolation due to the pandemic. Our volunteers shopped for groceries and delivered groceries to over 250 neighbors. They provided 1,200 rides per month to essential healthcare appointments and rides to help people get vaccinated. Our retired physicians and nurses provided in-home vaccinating services to 400 home-bound elderly.
All the volunteers who have helped during this time are truly heroes.
Thank you for all you have done!
Kent Ellsworth, Director
As the demand for our services continue, we need more heroes. Please spread the word and invite your friends to help make the lives of older adults in our community better.
