Each of our teams met this fall to get reacquainted with each other and to walk through an exercise to bring forward what’s working and what’s not working in their service. The results provided plenty of food for thought – in addition to lunch – and many ideas to implement as we move forward.

We’re setting in motion plans to create two new teams after the first of the year. The Volunteer Recruiting Team will be charged with recruiting 150 new volunteers in 2012 and helping turn every volunteer into a recruiter.

The Volunteer Recognition Team will be charged with recognizing our 250+ volunteers, including uncovering new and creative ways to keep volunteers engaged with serving and with the organization.
